Both. Wind power all but vanished, something like 90%. NG failed almost by half, but is the lion share of Texas power, this having a larger raw number of overall MW shortfall.

Some turbines were frozen up but the amount of generation missing absolutely pales compared to non capable gas gen. ERCOT could have probably nearly made it without the wind. It still would have hit price cap for a handful of hours Mon and Tues but not danger of systemic collapse like we saw.
