I think this is actually a ploy to protect Cuomo. They will all clutch their pearls and demand an 'investigation', which will conclude he was all but perfect in his handling of the situation. He gets off the hook because its already 'been investigated and debunked' and the rest of the degenerate left can pretend like they will go after people from any party. It will 'clear' Cuomo and AOC can run around acting as if she took it seriously. Its just a cover to sweep it all under the rug while blaming everything they can on Trump. Its a win/win for the left.

At first the left denied it and then once it could no longer be ignored they investigated it but let her off the hook because she didn't intend to do anything wrong.
