It's currently snowing where I am, we got 30cm of it a few days ago and the snow was already about 50cm deep. Our road doesn't have much grass per house so each snow pile right now is taller than most cars... about chin height..
but then again that's normal where I am and everyone is doing fine.
I'm a 7th generation Texan. I've always wanted a nice big snowstorm. Typically we'll get an inch or two and it's 75° the next day.... No longer.
We just got probably 15 years of winter weather in 5 days.

50 cm is about 20 inches
