Alan Colmes used to style himself as the Left's Rush...but he never made it stick.

The ONLY person to be able to compete with Rush as the "intellectual Rush of the Left" was....drum roll...Rush Limbaugh himself, when he spent an entire episode doing his show from the Left's perspective.

He never repeated that performance, but his content in arguing against the conservative perspective was immeasurably better than anything the Left put together, before or after.
