Umm I’m Appalachian and am descended from poor farmers and coal miners as far back as I can trace, My family has never benefited from being white if we had we wouldn’t have grew up in shitty trailer parks and had everything we own repossessed. I got myself out of poverty by not whining about it and working hard, which seems to be a hard concept for some people to grasp.
