I read the whole article to see if it was just a clickbaity headline. It basically reads "if you read a claim you're unsure of and looks bad. Stop. Don't waste your time looking into it and thinking critically about it as that might lead you to a wrong viewpoint. Just Google it and go to a "more trusted source" that tells you the opposite instead" It is fully a "believe all propaganda" mantra.

My response always is: "I don't need a news pundit to tell me how to think. I don't get my "thinking" from other people. I do my own research and read the actual speech, or look up the law, or listen to the actual debate. You mean you don't? Really...?!" Then I just walk away shaking my head.
