Dont forget puerto rico never handed out anything during the hurricane, locked it in storage and blamed Trump for not helping.

But as far as I know Biden hasn’t even contacted the governors of the stricken states. I know for a fact this was true on Wednesday. I don’t even think he has had a press conference or has publicly addressed this situation. Does anyone know otherwise? Trump and Melania visited Texas after the hurricane there. Bush badly botched the government’s response to Louisiana after Katrina. As Trump has always said and done, American citizens came first. We know where we are on Biden’s list - at the bottom.

Yesterday? Thanks for responding. Not exactly good timing on Pedo Joe’s part. But he does have his priorities ...... probably having a sleepover for little girls in the neighborhood.

Was that before they called a lid for the day?

Trump did wonders in Puerto Rico in spite of corrupt officials who'd have preferred to pilfer the supplies and re-sell them later and blaming any problems on their political enemies. The Puerto Rican people seem to have seen through it and at least kicked one of their lying mayors to the curb in a humiliating landslide.

It's important to remember the inventory was not just water for adults, it was essentials for children. Twice.

Living in Austin. Didn't want or need the gov help, I'm a fucking Texan who can survive 5 days in the cold. It's just a Republican president would have been roasted on every newspaper on the planet and these fuckers don't even bring up Beijing Biden.

The media would rather tell us that Ted Cruz went to Cancun because they know it will catch the attention of the people with TDS while Trump isn't in the news. The more we talked about Cruz being in Mexico, the less the media had to cover Biden fucking things up and the less they had to talk about Andrew Cuomo's nursing home deaths.

Up here in N.E. Texas we had lower temps. and more snow than we have had in 20 yrs. Will be back to normal by sunday.

9
KYMAGApatriot1 [S] 9 points ago +9 / -0

I feel for you guys. We’ve had several inches of snow but thankfully have power and water. We had a very bad ice storm here in 1994 and were without power for 4 days. Some places did not get back on line for weeks. I saw where they are finding people frozen to death in their homes in Texas. I prayed earlier today when hearing that and will continue to pray for you guys.

7
TJac 7 points ago +7 / -0

It was not that bad here we never lost power.I have heard those rumors but can't find anyone that actually knows if they are true.

5
KYMAGApatriot1 [S] 5 points ago +5 / -0

I saw an actual report on it. It might have been Fox News. I cruise several sites. It said a 60 year old was found dead in his cold house. If I find the source I’ll get back to you.

3
TJac 3 points ago +3 / -0

OK. thanks. South and West Tx.got hit pretty hard so it wouldn't surprise me.

2
Pede3 2 points ago +2 / -0

Some of the pictures of water damage looked pretty bad, and the deaths from CO poisoning or trying hazardous methods of heating. We have more resources and experience to deal with this in the north, but I've never seen anything beyond pipes freezing. Ceilings falling down etc would be next level for us too.

Ummmm guys. Biden gives two shits about we the people... He's going to play mario kart, sniff a few kids and call it a day.

7
Pierre_Delectoes 7 points ago +7 / -0

This is why Trump faced so much sabotage and resistance from liberals in government. He demanded at least competence and often excellence from a group that was accustomed to doing literally nothing and being promoted.

7
freewillsetstruth 7 points ago +7 / -0

I'm pretty sure this is f you to Texas for getting so uppity about secession. This is 100% political. And good citizens shouldn't stand for it

3
Sildaran 3 points ago +3 / -0

Which is dumb. Texit is fueled by DC being a swamp. Them pulling BS like this just proves the point. Also tnm.me membership just keeps going up. Even has Texans struggle with power and internet we can still keep driving tnm.me membership.

KYMAGApatriot1 [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

And don’t forget, you are a red state. Shamey shamey on you. (In other words it’s your fault for Biden’s off-the-chain incompetence).

6
Barbs 6 points ago +6 / -0

I’m kinda surprised the train companies didn’t send locomotives to affected areas, to power portions of the grid. Locomotives are just massive diesel generators, and even have an “uplink” where you can connect them.

3
KYMAGApatriot1 [S] 3 points ago +3 / -0

Uh oh. You said the dirty word, “diesel”. EPA and the leftist looney activists are coming for you. Lol. But I agree; you have a good point.

1
FireannDireach 1 point ago +1 / -0

I dimly recall that being done in the past, but it wasn't just "cruise the diesel up and plug it in", they had to purposefully derail them, and drive them trackless to a destination, and then wire them into the grid. I also recall it being discussed in CA during the Grey Davis years, but it was rejected as too expensive and there was no suitable place to park them and run them.

I'd rather they keep the engines running hauling supplies into the areas that need it.

Big generators are pretty common. The only problem is they're very local, they can only supply so much power. You'd need hundreds of the big boys to even put a dent into a medium sized city and suburbs.

The_RedWolf 6 points ago +6 / -0

According to OAN it’s more of the Texas govt not telling them where to go.

I mean shit I live in Texas I have no issue blaming everyone here after this past week. The Texas GOP is a bunch of greedy hacks

5
KYMAGApatriot1 [S] 5 points ago +5 / -0

Still, only 60 generators being the total response from the Feds is still pitiful.

3
The_RedWolf 3 points ago +3 / -0

That I will agree with

I’m sure a lot of Texans can take care of themselves. Regardless though, this is about the miserable incompetence of the Biden administration and how far removed they are from taking care of Americans FIRST. Illegal immigrants are receiving better treatment than we are. I know people here are opposed to the covid vaccine, but I read on a news website (can’t remember source) where ICE is providing the covid vaccine to illegal immigrants. God only knows what Biden will provide next for them. Probably government-subsidized housing paid for by us, unemployment benefits, government-subsidized healthcare, etc. With Pedo Joe the sky’s the limit when it comes to people such as these.

I’m for the Federal Government helping out anyone, regardless of the state, in the event of a national disaster. Helping, ok? With basic needs such as food, water (which they still need and are forced to boil water due to damage to the city infrastructure) which, by the way, is a problem for this entire country, including wherever you live. All communities are facing the infrastructure issues. If you suffer a catastrophe due to a natural cause, or failure of an aging infrastructure, I personally have no problems with helping you or anyone else out with my tax dollars. I don’t view any of this as a social program.

The problem with your thinking is that the citizens who had nothing to do with what choices the government made are, in some cases, literally freezing to death and have no access to clean drinking water. Do you believe an elderly person with no gas or wood fireplace and who has no other access to heat has to suffer for days on end due to the state’s decisions regarding energy sources? Those without family close enough to help care for them are to be subject to these same consequences? I still would want citizens of this country, who through no control of their own and due to government allotments of funds, to not suffer needlessly and die. These citizens, most of whom are hard working people or retirees, shouldn’t be victims of a government not functioning as it should, and I have no problems with my tax dollars assisting them. Still, I respect anyone here with a different opinion.

We didn’t need generators, we needed fucking snow plows to clear the roads!!! My city had one damn tiny Bobcat to partially clear.some of the snow and ice. We ended up banding together with our shovels to clear the main road so the propane truck could reach the fill station. Federal response was/is non existent.

The green energy president sent diesel burning generators. I'll leave that here.

There’s no reason to be competent or effective when you have the press in your pocket to just ignore your failures and never say anything critical about you.

Media consolidation and single party domination is dangerous.

2
Hoot 2 points ago +2 / -0

No point attacking Biden. Focus on his puppet masters, who just wheel him out to sign stuff on camera and read what they told him to say.
