I feel for you guys. We’ve had several inches of snow but thankfully have power and water. We had a very bad ice storm here in 1994 and were without power for 4 days. Some places did not get back on line for weeks. I saw where they are finding people frozen to death in their homes in Texas. I prayed earlier today when hearing that and will continue to pray for you guys.
I saw an actual report on it. It might have been Fox News. I cruise several sites. It said a 60 year old was found dead in his cold house. If I find the source I’ll get back to you.
Some of the pictures of water damage looked pretty bad, and the deaths from CO poisoning or trying hazardous methods of heating. We have more resources and experience to deal with this in the north, but I've never seen anything beyond pipes freezing. Ceilings falling down etc would be next level for us too.

It was not that bad here we never lost power.I have heard those rumors but can't find anyone that actually knows if they are true.
