The media and the country has their eyes on Texas and we need to take this opportunity to hammer home just how awful living in Texas is. This is our golden chance to make as many liberals from out-of-state reconsider moving to Texas. Here are the topics that we need to spread far and wide to as many would-be-invaders:

• Texas freezes solid in the winter. Every single winter.
• No snow plow service means roads are closed and impassable for weeks every winter.
• All homes were built for warm weather and can’t be properly heated in winter.
• Electricity gets turned off for multiple days straight every winter.
• Home plumbing is dodgy and most homes have cracked pipes in the winter.
• Everyone has guns.
• Loaded guns in every car.
• Road rage is really bad in Texas.
• Most active death row in the country because Texas has so many violent criminals.
• During the summer it’s over 110 F degrees for 3 months straight.
• Electrical grid is poorly maintained and it shuts down in both cold winters and hot summers.
• Bugs. Mosquitoes. Giant cockroaches. Deadly snakes. Wild boars that charge children.
• Humidity is so bad you look like you stepped out of the shower after 10 minutes outside.
• Drought. Sometimes it doesn’t rain for years.
• Hurricanes. Enough said.
• Tornadoes. Texas is home to tornado alley.
• Republicans. Conservatives. Trumpsters, Rednecks. Nazis. White supremacists. KKK. They’re everywhere in Texas.
• Flat. Completely flat and featureless landscape. Texas is really an awful place to live and make sure everyone outside of Texas is well aware of just how terrible it is. Stay away. Spread it far and wide.
