That's what they are.. they're designed as a means to legally accept bribery.
Non profit so no taxes. Minimum amounts of charity needs to happens, then 90%+ of the profit is going to adminstrative costs.
Do u wish to go on vacation using the foundation money? Sure, just set up a fake meeting in Hawaii, call it a travel expense and list your family members as consultants.
You get to launder money and look charitable doing it. That's going to be irresistible to a lot of people.
