The reason is simple, and it isn't because they're elitist, racist, or sexist. It's because adding a large influx of population to an area, will have a fast and negative effect on the economy and area. It's an immediate drain on the area's resources.
People harp on about legal immigration because it works. It's slow enough to allow acclimation for the population, and the ability to stop the flow if the local economy and society can't support anymore.
How are you going to fix Dominion? They'll just install candidates, using Dominion, who are pro-Dominion. Do you really think you're going to get a bunch of based and sneaky Republicans elected into office so they can kill the Establishment's golden goose? Not going to happen.

You weren't winning future elections thanks to Dominion anyway, not like 40 million new "legal" Hispanic Democrat voters will alter that.
