Source article says she and her husband wanted to get pregnant, not that she is. She's concerned about fertility issues and wanted to wait to vaccinate because of how rushed the vax is. She got fired because she didn't want to risk sterilizing herself right before she and her husband started trying for their first child.
Equal Employment Opportunity Commission already said months ago that employers are allowed to do this.
Odd since the vaccine hasn't been shown to prevent transmission, only symptoms. So at worst the employer would be avoiding an employee calling out sick for a week. It has no bearing on workplace safety.
Agreed. It makes no sense to force the vaccine on anyone because of that fact it doesn't stop the spread.
The excuse is that ICUs can still get overrun by people showing extreme symptoms and prevebt others from getting treatment for other problems. The problem with that idea is that normal people mostly don't get hospitalized for the virus in the first place, so that excuse is bunk too but they'll never admit it.
Vaccine makes a ton of sense for high risk individuals, like the elderly or those with underlying health issues. If you vaccinate those, you cut the mortality rate by 90% and it's no worse than the seasonal flu.

Well then we should crowd fund a lawsuit against the equal opportunity commission.
