And you are correct; Rumsfeld is an asshole. He used to be head of GD Searle who was the company trying to commercialize aspartame and very likely is responsible for having contacts with the FDA to try and shutdown approval for miracle berries a while back

It’s a berry that makes sour stuff taste sweet. About the size of an olive (with a pit) but taste like a mildly sweet raspberry
