There are two phony balooney propagandas that particularly target women, the first is our familiar old friend, the social justice cult, that all you are victimized by the "old white patriarchy" and their "oppressive cultural norms", you ought to blame the whole world for your own miseries; the second is a bit subtle and may take some time to identify, it's called the self love cult, that you are the hero of your story, you are the solution to your problems, you just follow this and that instruction, boost your self esteem, forget about the shame and guilt, and you'll be happy. It's the worship of the I-Me-Myself trinity, and it's the theme of numerous self-help books, including many Christian ones.

Sadly too many women fall for those, especially the second one, because it sounds very positive and inspiring, compared to the first one which is everywhere and full of hate.
