That "grid" is largely a financial one, not a physical one. Neighboring states are powering bits of Texas right now.

Thats because some parts of east and west texas overlap with neighbouring states so that utility companies can choose whichever to pull power from. The rest of the grid is pretty much isolated.

It's a meaningless distinction regardless considering executive fiat can override anything and the power companies are all filled with foreign saboteurs.

No its not. Its actually a complicated process. Just like Trump didnt snap his fingers and the wall came up overnight, doing these things takes time. Abbott is trying to stop outflows of oil to Mexico anyway, but looks like he might run into roadblocks. The Texas RINOs fucked it up, pure and simple. Had they had the kind of business acumen and courage Trump had (he was in PR days after the hurricane personally helping deliver much needed supplies), then Texas wouldnt be in this position. The RINOs just assumed 'oh its Texas baby! We will never vote in a D' and got lazy and complacent. These fuckers need to be primaried hard.
