Most evolutionists hinge on some belief about shared ancestry. This DOES NOT prove evolution. It's backwards. There is NO evidence for a working, functional evolution. And, in fact, all of the "evidence" for common ancestry can be attributed to common Design elements. If you can't solve the problem going forward, to where it actually becomes useful, and real, then you believe in a new age fairy tale, taken all together. A false religion of so-called science that is a DILLUSION. Fate is not without a sense of irony, I suppose. The Bible has always made the same claim about what it is, and where it comes from, and still stands firm on testable, repeatable, observable scientific phenomena.

I believe in evolution. Darwinian evolution is the joke and it's come under fire by even secular scientists of late because it just that silly.

Sure, so do I. Wolves can be bred into chihuahuas, but not a door mouse, or a cat.

The Bible says there is a different flesh for each animal, and that God created all the animals according to their kinds. This is what we observe in the natural world. The secular worldview of humans and cosmic origins is a story piggy-backing off the rationality of God's design.

not a door mouse, or a cat.

The reason for this is not magical.

It that the codebase that builds various body parts does not match up in a way that would allow a replicating recombination to exist.

This is only because their last common ancestor was alive a very long time ago. Since then the instances that emerged from that shared codebase have accumulated to many changes to make a replicable recombination.
