Anyone remember shortly after they tweaked the algorithm on reddit to remove certain subs from appearing, but before they toned down the political stuff somewhat and the front pages were like 50% ads for the DNC?
They had, over the course of weeks, thousands of posts get 20,000+ likes, with 12 comments on the front page. They kind of got called out on that for being too obvious, then suddenly of brad9944 accounts made 100s of posts and it all looked normal again. I think that twitter and reddit, not only tolerate bots but encourage and even employ them for advertising and promoting things. I think OPs right that it is fake as fuck, but I think all the high end investors already know.
