Actually, there are thousands of openings, all in rural area, clinics and hospitals. The problem is the Doctors all want to work in huge cities (maybe that makes them mental) but there are plenty of rural communities than need local physicians.
If you dig a little deeper, the rejection are for those that went to foreign medical schools and didnt graduate near the top of the class, or even from US medical schools that graduated at bottom of the class.
