This is actually pretty true. I’m a 3rd year medical student and the number of people who graduate from medical school but don’t get matched with a residency program is growing and is fucking people over. What you see a lot nowadays is people getting their medical degrees overseas (especially from India) and coming over here and getting residency positions that should be for people who got their doctorates here.

Is that because the hospitals see them as significantly cheaper and easier to control, regardless of their mistakes, H1B's?
