The entertainment industry doesn't realize it, but they destroyed themselves. First of all, they have been producing non-stop shit for the last 10 years or so leading many to "cut the cord." Now they no longer have the crutch of simply saying, "Orange Man Bad" over and over just to get ratings from their NPC followers. So now they have zero material for their moron audience. Nobody tunes in to watch bootlickers, so already having alienated more than half of their audience, they're going to essentially give the remaining hold-outs no reason to tune in.
It's no wonder the most popular stations are those running 30, 40 and 50+ year old TV shows.
