Here's an unpopular opinion: Allowing corporations to grow unchecked will eventually lead to problems. Capitalism is great compared to alternatives, but true free markets where multinational mega corporations have completely unchecked insane power and influence is a problem when the people running those corporations decide to - let's say - oppress people because of race with bullshit diversity agendas and say things like "be less white."
We have to recognize that the agenda for decades was for the elites to amass all the power and wealth by using a phony two party system in the USA consisting of the party of big govt. (Dems) and the party of big business (RINOs). Now we can clearly see they are united playing for the same team against team MAGA who is the party of the people.
I love all the benefits of capitalism but let's not pretend it's beyond criticism. Big business is just as dangerous as big govt in the wrong hands. We have all played monopoly so we know how this ends.
What makes big business worse than a big corporation? If I don't like what a big corporation does, I can just boycott their products. If I don't like what a big government is doing, I still have to buy what they are selling or I go to jail...
If I tell a corporation to fuck off, I maybe get banned from their platform/service. If I tell the government to fuck off, sociopaths with guns will show up at my house to put me in a cage. I will take my chances with big business...

Yes. You could reject the large corporations offering internet access where you live. But you then lose access to the internet, because 22 states have banned municipal broadband, so you have no other options.
idk, but I will be fine without internet... I didn't have the internet until I was in my 20s... I was happier without it tbh. I don't own a TV or have cable either. I am banned off social media, so they kind of forced the boycott on me. I will survive.

Something to note: we dont have capitalism in America. We have crony capitalism which is corporate communism.

Who paid for those laws?
