Either write about why it was essential to ignore that data (ethical)
or
: Dont even mention it and dont let anyone else have access to the data (non ethical)
So, by choosing to explain why you ignored part of the data, you are technically not a liar, you can lift your head high having deceived people in what basically is a lie.
This is how democrats do politics - make an excuse to do what you want - do what you want and claim it was ethical.
