Start reading comprehension. I said I've never been a fan of him, but federal senators have little if any authority in regards to mobilizing assistance in Texas.
He could have pushed to be able to join the Federal grid in case something like this happened (back up plans are always nice)...or pushed to weatherize natural gas pipelines in case case the wind turbines failed...or pushed to just not build wind turbines...or advocated for...I don't know, ANY sort of emergency protocol.
This man is a traitor to Trump and the American people. He doesn't give a shit about anyone but himself.
I don't like over regulation as much as the next person, but whatever he allowed in Texas clearly didn't work, and people died as a result. I'm not putting ALL of this on Cruz, but he obviously wasn't smart enough to notice how this wasn't a possibility.
So if you put together all of that, and consider he's a back stabbing piece of shit, I say he can go fuck himself and hopefully we get a MAGA candidate to dethrone that piece of shit in his next election.
