💯 Wrong. Not a teacher but sure as heck homeschooled my very articulate successful professional daughter 8th-12grade. Clearly you know less than zero about which you so blithely comment. There are hundreds of homeschool associations of parents who band together and either have other parents who are professionals teach a course in which he or she is extremely capable and passionate and the others pay for the course if they so choose e.g. French, Greek, History, computer science, all math through college calculus, biology, chemistry, etc etc. I was able to be a busy freelance TV writer producer and media consultant while also homeschooling her. At 15 she went to Brazil with me for three weeks shooting a pilot for a TV series. She learned some basic Portuguese, worked as a grip on the video crew and had an unforgettable life-changing immersion into another culture. You can make it work if you want to there are many many resources out there and tons of extremely supportive and engaging parents.
