All of the teachers unions and school board people really hate children and are just there to indoctrinate as much as possible while doing the last amount of work possible while endlessly complaining about their compensation and workload.

Hey now, some of us teach math and are there to do a job involving the least amount of work possible without indoctrinating anybody!

"and are just there to indoctrinate..." and to pad their retirement...

I've heard that ALL public servants get a pension after twenty years of "service" while the People who are paying the bills get nothing. In fact, many are even taxed out of their homes in their old age.

Wasn't the gooberment set up to serve the People? Seems like that has been flipped.

Shit dawg, we’re vested after 5 years of service. Working for 20 is if you want free healthcare for life.

Damn!

You aren't going to be living off a 5 year pension though. It just means you can retire at age 50 and start drawing one.

That’s why California is in such trouble, we have billions in un-funded pensions.

I remember when I was in college, when I would talk to kids that were “education majors” and I would ask them how they picked their major, it was never “because I love children.” It was “dude it’s such and easy job, you get summers off, you retire early and you get a pension”

Always remember, these teachers made the decision to become a teacher when they were 18 years old. They made that choice because they though it benefited them. They don’t give a shit about the kids.

Yeah, I don't get why teachers complain so much. The first year might be hard but after that, you pretty much teach the same thing year after year til you collect your pension.

Run for school board then. Please! We need conservatives to step up and get in those positions. It'll probably suck but it's the most sure fire way to fix this.

I really can't afford to quit my job to be on the school board.

Most school boards are part time positions with relatively low time requirements. We need to be getting people into local positions. If not school board maybe a city alderman or county commissioner. Those are often part time as well. Most people in those positions never campaign, never talk to those they represent. Most of them are also left of center even in conservative areas. The reason is they want the power and conservatives want to be left alone. But look at where that has got us.

Ya, I am looking in to it for sure. I've been helping out Convention Of States and just started going to the local gop meetings. Need to see what other positions there are though.
