Our weather doesn't suck. The summer is hot as balls but it drives the snowbirds away and if you suck it up and are willing to go out in it, there's a lot of fun to be had.
I’ve found your summers to be much more comfortable than where I grew up in Virginia. Yeah it’s hot, but the air isn’t stagnant like it is in the non-tropical states. Y’all don’t realize how nice you have it.
Come to the middle of the state lol, no sea breeze here, and the summer does get miserable. That being said though our winter is the best time of year here in my opinion, and in the summer just go to the beach or the springs to cool off
I was talking about central Florida. That's the only part of Florida I ever go to. It is always nicer weather than Virginia in the summer. Plus there is pretty much a thunderstorm every day. The storm part sucks, but it cools everything down and makes the evenings very pleasant.
I live in Florida. Mowed my lawn today. Sitting in the sun, literally getting ready to cast a line in the gulf. While everyone freezes. Not to make light of it because yup-hurricanes and summer suck here but-fuck that cold shit.
Not a cloud in the sky and the weather is perfect! Keep the “change of seasons”. I love seeing the leaves change in the fall...that’s when I go there IF ever. Give me this with no masks and relative freedom any day!
I am in FL right now (60°) where I came because the Gov says no masks required - only to be assaulted by mask enforcers everywhere! In the conservative panhandle the public is mostly without masks, but I havent eaten in 2 days because I cant find a restaurant to let me in. I cant wait to get home to the ice and snow.
Its crushing to know the American people are over.
The mask thing is very localized. Here in the Sarasota area I don’t and have never worn a mask. A couple places have given me a hard time but nobody has been nasty. Have not had any issues at any restaurants. Typically the more local, non chain restaurants are best.
Tell that to the parts of America that are freezing. The weather here is just fine.

Tampa area today - 68, next nine days 75, 79, 70, 73, 75, 77, 81, 82, 81. All sunny.
While those are great temps, they get humidity while its dryer here. Its all preference I guess :)
