Patriot party would take over the Republican Party out of sheer numbers and attract Democrats that are #walkaway.

Run good enough candidates and a strong campaign and you won't have to worry about splitting votes. The reason third-party candidates never do well is because they have almost no money to get their names out there and nobody can pick them out of a lineup. Everyone has heard of the Libertarian party. How many people can name more than one or two actual Libertarian candidates?

You cant run good candidates without ballot access. It would take years to gain meaningful access. Much better to takeover the Republican party since they have the access and infanstructure

The problem with this is that you guys think any MAGA candidate will ever get on a ballot. The RINO party has made it clear with their treatment of Marjorie Taylor-Greene that they're never letting another MAGA candidate on a ballot again. So your plan is to try to get candidates on a ballot when the party either won't let that happen or won't support that candidate should they succeed on getting on the ballot as a Republican?

How about running candidates so popular under the Patriot Party banner that the Republicans have no choice but to absorb them and support them in an election. Either that or slowly die off.

The libertarian party purposefully runs lunatics and fringe candidates because winning is not their agenda, laundering money is.

The entire platform of the libertarian party is to line the pockets of a few ultrawealthy political operatives by fleecing money from people who would otherwise not donate to any political party.

This is why they run candidates that do not appeal to anyone other then a very small percentage of people, if they actually won they would have to produce results, and that is not what they want to do.

The libertarian party is a construct of the 2 parties to provide the illusion of choice, that is all.

I'm not talking about a 3rd party. I'm talking about the Patriot Party taking over the Republican party. And you didn't look up the Whig party did you?

I know what the Whig Party is. I live in KY. I'm familiar with Henry Clay. Also, what I described is pretty much the same as what you wrote. The Patriot Party will get so much support, with the right candidates, they will render the Republican party meaningless. The RINO party will then have no choice but to either accept the Patriot candidates, who will eventually take it over, or die off.

Since the Republicans will never allow Patriot Party candidates to run under their umbrella, they'll have to start out as a third-party and slowly infiltrate the RINO party. How else do you plan on running MAGA candidates? It's clear from the treatment of Marjorie Taylore-Greene that the RINO party wants nothing to do with MAGA. They'll never support another MAGA candidate anywhere.

Some Republicans would join (mostly the house members) reluctantly as they see their donations dry up and their support dwindle. Their funding is already drying up. And I'm fine with running them as 3rd party, they'd get massive fundraising as Trump rallies behind them. If they are like Marjorie Taylor Green, they'd get the support they need. Most Republicans are fed up with the party and aren't going to vote for Republicans Rinos anymore anyways. People act like a 3rd party would split the vote, no it would give Republicans, (who are not going to vote for traitors) someone to vote for.

Looks like we're going to find out. Came across this today. Sounds like it's the war we're waiting for (or at least one of them): https://thepalmierireport.com/two-women-closely-associated-with-trump-announce-senate-run-trump-vs-mcconnell-showdown-coming/
