The power outages across the entire state should at least get them to pay attention because they got fucked over.

No. Unfortunately, Texas isn't a simple case of 'oh the wind turbines killed us!' There were many failures on many levels. HOPEFULLY, though, it's reinvigorated their paying attention to the local people before too many Commiefornia cucks get into politics there.
