We just went through an election - one where Trump won big - but still lost. How do you get around that in 4 years of further fortifying? Add to that the duplicitous nature of the GOP and its overt desire to maintain business as usual.
We had the last 4 years with Trump in office to see how it will look like - repeating it all over again is the definition of insanity.
