Didn't it used to be a rule to put profits above all else? Didn't big business used to be the biggest donors to Republicans? I don't see the profit motive in alienating half your customer base. It's the same reason why entertainers should never talk politics. I have seen one theory about new millennial executives taking over and letting their "values" take over the company, as we've seen with Google.

One thing we all know is that Corporate America are all globalists.
If you look at Apple, it was only in 2018 that they said they would bring money back to US (I assume after the tax breaks). They do not care about the state of America.
Money is mobile--it suits them now to pander to the left because they get to do much that is unconstitutional. For years everyone agreed that action needed to be taken against big tech but now that big tech silences the opposition, crickets.
Corporate America will leave America when it suits them. One thing both Corporate America and the Democrats have in common is there own interests. Politicians only care about power.
