I still don't see how he broke anyone. They literally performed a successful coup and took over again. Scores of his supporters are in jail on federal charges and for the first time in this nations history, an election was openly rigged. And of course nobody cares.

We have one thing in this country that the other countries that fell to communism didn't have. We are a Union of States and those elites in Washington have their power because of the consent of the governed. That's why we have to fight tooth and nail on the local level to knock their feet right out from under them.
The fight wouldn't be this intense if they still had the veneer of decency they once had. There wouldn't be as many people who would truly understand what we are up against.

As a WI resident on the IL border, I've followed this a lot. Even the IL senators Durbin and Ducktworth feel the prosecutor should stick around. There is no replacement for him yet. It's common to wipe out all of a previous administrations prosecutors, but this is a tricky situation.
Oh and ComEd was already fined $200 million for being connected to this scandal and forced to hand over reams of evidence. The IL Speaker of the House stepped down after 38 years yesterday over this. They know he is guilty. It feels like an easy win for whomever steps on... when and if they do step in.
