As a WI resident on the IL border, I've followed this a lot. Even the IL senators Durbin and Ducktworth feel the prosecutor should stick around. There is no replacement for him yet. It's common to wipe out all of a previous administrations prosecutors, but this is a tricky situation.

Oh and ComEd was already fined $200 million for being connected to this scandal and forced to hand over reams of evidence. The IL Speaker of the House stepped down after 38 years yesterday over this. They know he is guilty. It feels like an easy win for whomever steps on... when and if they do step in.
