I know this isn't a Trump thread, but there's a loose tie to freedom because what little I know about 5G seems to be bad due to both privacy and security concerns. Can anyone help educate me with a few quick lines? There seems to be a reaction to anything against 5G which is sus. Hopefully we can have a based discussion.

Well it is a Trump thing actually given that he pushed for 6G.

Bandwidth potential was never realized with 4G.. Its just so they can squeeze more customers on networks

if you can get it, 5g internet is blazing fast.

5g has 2 band frequencies, 1 is innocuous but the high band is very dangerous. I wouldn't want that beam pointed at me...it's directional.

Towers have sectored antennas, you are getting the beams anyway regardless if you're holding a 5G phone in your hand

I hope you never have to stand in sunlight if you think 5g anything is dangerous.

Agreed. The anti 5g people are idiots

You have, in your hands, the answer to every question in the world, yet you come here to ask as if we are a tech gurus.

Use DuckDuckGo search and you tell us what the difference is.

The answer to every question in the world comes from a person with motives and ideologies I do not know, nor do I trust. I did ddg to find some answers, but too many if those articles reek with hidden woke agendas. Hence, why I asked here, because I trust the network of frens on here. It helps form the bigger picture so I can make my own decision.

Health:

5G has been used as a military weapon.

5G has been licensed for use up to the 60GHz range.

60GHz is the absorption frequency of diatomic Oxygen (O2) which is in the air we breathe.

This would basically "microwave" O2 with detrimental effects.

https://citizensfor5gawareness.org/2020/03/02/the-60-ghz-give-away/

Privacy:

The implementation of 5G would open up Smart City and more in-home Smart technologies.

Basically allowing for micro monitoring of everything in your life from your prescriptions to the contents of your refrigerator.

How much further are we expected to allow the intrusion of Big Brother into our lives?

So we breath a microscopic more amount of ozone..

Japan4Salt 1 point ago +1 / -0

I dont want to breathe any more ozone if I don't have to.

You ever been in a laboratory near a machine that specifically creates ozone?

Yes I know what ozone smells like

And this does not apply at the power levels used in it for cellular use

The only real downside I'm aware of is that the smaller towers can be used to more accurately triangulate your position, but that's not inherently a 5G thing.

5g gets faster speeds by using shorter wave lengths ... HAM radio's can go long distances because they have long wave lengths ... Micro-wave ovens work by using very short wave lengths ...

5g means more towers, closer together, with higher 'risk' of cooking those around it ...

kind of like the election, there is no negative health effects, if they don't investigate it ...

then there's the fact that 5g was pretty much created by the chinese, so i don't trust how secure it may be ...

in short, it may be harmless, but I may be looking at turning my property into a faraday cage ...

Microwaves operate in the 2.4Ghz region

There's zero risk of it cooking anything. You get immensely more radiation from just standing outside in the sun.
