It's well past the point where people are going to have to stay in their own country and work to make it better. The electric grid in Texas failed because there are more people that it can support, we are at critical mass, we cannot accept thousands more people.

Thousands? You mean the MILLIONS they want to send here. I don't care the race, religion, gender, etc. We need to stop allowing immigration. We can't even take care of our own already here as it is. 🙄

The power supply fell short of demand because 10-15% of it is solar and wind, and all of that became inoperable. A proportion of thermal power also experienced issues in the blistering cold. ERCOT had to beg the federal government to let it run "dirtier" power sources, and Biden's Acting Secretary in the DoE wrote an order saying "Yeah OK, but muh emissions!"

There is nothing in here to do with critical mass, or not being able to accept more people.

I'm originally from a socialist-loving country

I see why you would say this...

There is nothing in here to do with critical mass, or not being able to accept more people.

Too many people have packed into this country, we need a break.
