Shit happens. ATC is extremely good and professional in this country. Sometimes you catch a controller when they're on the phone calling a tower, center or approach and are unable to answer. Great on the pilots for getting it down safely.
According to Superman, Air Travel is still one of the safest forms of transportation.
That being said, if that happened on a plane I was flying on, I would be losing my shit. I was just clowning on AOC before but every time I fly, all of these thoughts go through my head because I’m not in control of the plane.
I don’t even like being a passenger in a car. I want to drive.
My bad for not realizing the quote, but perfect fit for it. Air travel isn't for everyone, but my anxiety is split between the mask police, TSA and whether I'm magically put on the no fly list because I'm a Trump supporter. The flying itself is the least of my worries.
