Regarding that engine that flew apart on UA 328 Denver to Hawaii, here's the ATC recording. Pilot has to call the tower TWICE before even getting an answer regarding his emergency. Literally all that blue states give us is incompetence. (www.youtube.com)

My bad for not realizing the quote, but perfect fit for it. Air travel isn't for everyone, but my anxiety is split between the mask police, TSA and whether I'm magically put on the no fly list because I'm a Trump supporter. The flying itself is the least of my worries.
