The problem with all these crazy woke policies is that we won't take it seriously but they become policy for government and educational institutions. When these policies becomes normal people will not question them anymore and eventually it becomes mandatory and then it becomes law. We are at a pivotal point in history where we can make a difference but it will take courage. If we remain quiet in office meetings and in-service seminars it tells the powers-that-be that they are willing to listen to this insanity and they will push the envelope. When this is introduced in the workplace, schools, or church, be vocal, be organized, and have your views heard.

I still believe it is a small minority that have a platform to reach millions. Think about gay rights. How many people in our country are gay? What maybe 1-3 percent of the population is gay but judging by the amount of commercials, television shows, movies, celebrities is seems like 40 percent of the population is gay. So the perception doesn't match the reality.

My work is going full in with the DEI thing. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Had a zoom meeting last week with all the store managers and admin. They butter you up with things that sound fair to anyone that was raised to be colorblind and not care what people do in their bedroom, but then boom... let’s stereotype all white people, especially straight white males, as inherently privileged and drenched in original sin! Have black friends? Not good enough. Hired a transgender person? Not good enough. Grew up in poverty far away from public transportation? Not good enough.You’re still a straight white male.
This might be a grim reality for most white males because we are now a target for all of societies ills. Drew Brees comes to mind when I read your post. Drew Brees, a beacon of the New Orleans community, champion of black people, and all around good guy is raked over the coals for basically saying he has respect for his country and would not kneel during the national anthem. After he was denounced, he had to apologize not once, but twice, and basically renounce his whiteness and admit to racial insensitivity. Forget about his body of work, the hours and millions of dollars given to the black community and in one statement that had no racial undertones, was practically run out of the league after a Hall of Fame career on and off the field. If it can happen to him it can happen to anyone.
Well even people that think its a joke will use it as weapon if it benefits them. If woke gets you a sweet job you don't deserve based on merit , I'm thinking you are gonna be " woke". If you can exact revenge on an enemy , or simply someone that is in the way, playing the woke card you are gonna do it. This is about power.
Gotta play to win , we can't just ignore it. Support conservative values without reservation.
