These tech companies are already obsolete. The problem is that a lot of alternatives have been founded explicitly to offer conservatives a refuge. However they're not refuges at all, because if your job depends on people not knowing your politics (like mine) and you're found on Gab, you get excommunicated. And to be honest, joining a social media site that is 100% focused on politics doesn't sound super fun to me.

An easier hill to climb is to obsolete Google/Youtube. LBRY is nonpartisan and infinitely better than Youtube. Ditto Fastmail and Proton, so much better than Gmail. These are non-political services that can cause massive damage to the fascist tech oligarchs.

Yeah of bitchute, rumble and odysse, odysse seems the least political right now. Yeah politics is interesting and all but sometimes we just want funny cat videos.

These are natural monopolies that by driving business to competitors due to political beliefs will go the way of MySpace when a non-political competitor that offers an equal or superior service emerges. For instance Bitchute does not seem to politically censor content but its search function is terrible compared to Youtube and it is often slow to load and does not offer a choice of quality.

You make such a great point. Conservative tech is siloing themselves be advertising as such. Tech just needs to be politically agnostic, and when the media tries to pigeon-hole them as "conservative" or "alt-right" threaten a lawsuit. Keep platforms open and free, but defend at the same time.

The problem is that facebook and twitter arent obvious signs of being a leftist

And being a leftist isnt a terminable offense like being sane is.
