If a state can de-criminalize illegal activities, and give a free pass to fringe criminal groups ...
Why can't one of our RED states use California's "Less than $900 is not actually theft, from a brick and mortar store" and add a twist to that ... so duplicating copyrighted movies/media is ALSO "not a loss of more than $100, so is also not theft" and to further this idea - it's really a victimless crime, as no individual has actually lost their property?

If it's time for a revolution, we need to rile up the current minority who are screaming the loudest these past few months! (Thoughts and input welcome!)

Copyright law is solely under the pervue of the federal government as is granted by the us constitution. States have little say in the matter, this is why copyright law is enforced in the federal courts and not state courts.
