You just need to get lucky with the shape on 4 sticks. Then stab 4 separate common shaped sticks into the ground. Besides that you’re just snapping bigger sticks into smaller ones and leaning them all against themselves. The shape only matters on 8 sticks, the others can be any shape and size as long as it’s not ridiculous. The model just has perfect sticks in uniform size to make the idea more understandable.
You could walk into the woods with nothing but yourself and build this using only sticks.
