I can’t get on board with the bland food thing because I like spicy food. A number of other things are superficial. But most of it is just common to all post-industrialization civilization. Some other things like “men judged based on social status, power, intellect” is just evolutionary psychology common to most females.
The main underlying false idea this is trying to push is that everything is equally valid, and that’s not true. For example the Abbasid Caliphate couldn’t exist if everyone was an animistic nomad living by primitive tribal codes. I mean Islamic law seems medieval 1000 years later, but that was advanced stuff at the time that allowed an empire to organize. (They had to copy the byzantines and Persians and others for lots of administrative, etc, stuff too, but fact is they didn’t reject stuff for “being white” or “not being Arab” and they needed certain cultural values to be civilized enough for large scale organization.)
The numerals we use today 1234567890 are actually Indian (south Asian), btw. Arabs got them from India.
Whoever wrote this “infographic” seems to think that white = American Utah Mormon or something when it comes to some of this stuff like bland food. People in fucking Texas sure aren’t eating bland food all the time.
