When you hear a politician saying "we're in this boat together", he expects YOU to do the rowing!

Let me explain theater to you. It is a play with no consequences.

This is theater. You see one politician dislikes the other, knowing that his salary can't be cut unless a law gets passed he files a motion he knows will get put down. Then another politician does the same thing to mock him. That passes and then gets ruled out of order and immediately means nothing.

Nothing was achieved except getting publicity.
