It was one of his disciples that turned him over to the authorities. You are getting too wrapped around who did what and fail to realize that you would have crucified him too, just like me.
“Then Satan entered into Judas called Iscariot, who was of the number of the twelve. He went away and conferred with the chief priests and officers how he might betray him to them. And they were glad, and agreed to give him money. So he consented and sought an opportunity to betray him to them in the absence of a crowd.”
Luke 22:3-6 ESV
“Then the chief priests and the elders of the people gathered in the palace of the high priest, whose name was Caiaphas, and plotted together in order to arrest Jesus by stealth and kill him.”
Matthew 26:3-4 ESV
Luke 22:66 is his trial before the Jewish Councel (not Roman)
Luke 23:13 is where pilate and Herod find Jesus innocent of the Jewish Councels claim. (They try to tell the romana that Jesus is claiming to be a king. They’re made he is claiming to be the son of god)
Luke 23:18 is when they as Pilates to free a killer and crucify Jesus in his place.
In the end it was the Jews who killed him for breaking mosaic law and claiming to be the Son of Man/Son of God.
Among other things, the life of Jesus parallels the life of the lambs used in the annual Passover slaughter. (Events and dates line up) The gospels are a layering of multiple analogies and prophetic answers rolled up together. I.e Son of Man from the book of Daniel combined with some older prop hues about the bloodline of David and photo baskets from Malachi.
Well yeah, there's more going on in every bible story.
6 This is the one who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ. He did not come by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.
9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

What are you trying to say, that is a very rambling comment.
The story of Judas is a cautionary tale of how you can be so close to Jesus, yet still fall short of salvation.
I was giving additional references to the comment u/chknh8r made.
He is correct and I elaborated on his “in a nutshell”.
There’s a lot more going on then a simple betrayal.

You love to project your own weakness onto other people. It doesn't make it true.
