This movie scared me as a kid and it had that early 70s brainwashed Manson theme of "the family" and how people are brainwashed to follow a charismatic leader. It also has the Covid element where it kills most of the population but the ones that survive can only come out at night (Antifa/BLM) to attack Heston, conservative and immune to the disease. The audio cues and extreme zoom ins are worth the price of admission.

Yeah. As a Constitutional conservative living in NoVA, I can readily identify with Heston's situation in that great flick.
