Multiple internet safety private groups have confirmed that any data while using Brave's TOR mode are being directly sent to your DNS and creating a backlog of your data and browsing history and knew several weeks ago and had implemented a beta program to test compatibility after discovering major flaw within security.. Brave has put out an update to solve this issue after public announcement was formally made by independent technology security firms, however the damage has been done to those who live in Strict regimes and communists countries. Currently known options are update to newest version or Delete completely and look for alternative safer sources.

I never ttrusted the imbedded Brave Tor but you dont need one you just need a VPN. But, there have been concerns regarding a Tor in general having thia problem. Thia is a Tor isaue not a Brave issue.
Brave is based on Chromium.
