Indeed. I was part of the "Oh, the Mohammedans are just another religion like mine, we agree on the overall moral codes." The thing that red pilled me on that was reading the Koran. I keep one in my house, with plenty of bookmarks, just for when my now-commie-sister comes over and makes a stupid comment about Islam. I always make sure to remind her that the Koran is pretty tame, when you compare it to the Hadiths and the Fatwahs.
