I think the police said as much. They said they don’t want to leave the message that people should be arming themselves. Also I think but I’m not sure, the owner may have admitted he fired warning shots. DONT ever do that or admit to that for many reasons.
The fact of the matter is, if you use a gun for self defense in a Democrat controlled jurisdiction, you are almost certainly going to jail. The charges you face will be determined based on what you did with the gun, but even drawing it and brandishing it will be charged in most cases.
Better tried by 12 than carried by 6.
Agreed, but I’d prefer to avoid both.
Decisions like this will bring about enormous levels of vigilante justice, but that is the desired outcome, violence.
People should absolutely arm themselves.
