To avoid the Leftist indoctrination, which is EVERYWHERE, Conservatives have to purposely seek out other sources of entertainment, news, sports, and education. There is very little in common anymore between the two groups. America is a House divided. How much longer will it stand?

It's a house invaded.

It's happening, definitely. The Executive branch has way too much power. The federal government has too much power. The States need to tell Washington DC to fuck off.

I noted years ago that Oliver was completely formulaic. This explains it far better.

He learned from the master, Jon Stewart.

Its also quite obvious because of the fact that Oliver and Late Night hosts NEVER target Democrats or the left. EVER.

All of their attacks, jokes, and hate target "the right"

Intellectual fast food. Terrible for you, but convenient and ubiquitous.

Is being painfully unfunny also part of the formula?

Well, it really works for that Noah loser who replaced Jon Stewart.

The format of a lot of these shows is the same as slagging people off behind their backs. Part of their tactic often includes targeting people they can get away with abusing.

I began watching television when my grandmother got one. I watched Queen Elizabeth's coronation with her, it was neat.

But Nana wasn't a complacent viewer, she would heap scorn on news shows, opinion programs.

I learned at her knee and here I am today, continuing the family tradition of mouthing off at blatant lies:)

Oliver did a good job attacking Bush Jr, after that I totally agree, he was a Dem subversive.

Kind of. But another take is that their viewers are pretentious retards and they are generally divisive in their own thoughts outside of the programming that panders to their biases.

Those on the left love humor that degrades people, but the joke isn't good humored like a "roast" might be. It's designed specifically to appeal to those looking to feel morally superior to others in every way possible.
