For some people it's hard to live without a car (that's rare, most people are just whiny and would be just fine without one, but some people need a car at the moment because public transportation doesn't help them). The problem is DEFENDING owning a car. You can at least admit that cars should be banned. If you defend cars you know you're wrong. You can have a car, but don't defend them. Just say you have a car because the government is not suppoting public transportation and you would switch if you could. Don't defend having a car because you don't care about ruining other people's lives.
