What he did was make a move in which he thought federal money would come his way by calling an emergency. The feds had there own ideas anyway and throttled power output using the federal powers act and the excuse of environmental concerns. If you read the order you’ll see using the power plants and generators at levels necessary to produce the required output would exceed federal emissions limits.
Abbott was doing what all politicians do and he should be cut down at the knees for it. The feds are simply anti- American and need to be eradicated.
